Okay, I decided to challenge myself today. I'm so sick of this mental, 'creative blockage' I've been experiencing lately. So to overcome it and blow it out of my brain, I'm giving myself a beading challenge and putting it out there in cyberspace for that extra pressure that I definitely deserve because this isn't the first time I told myself to do this. I'm the worst procrastinator that I know!
The challenge is to make something out of pearls. (I decided on using pearls because I have so many of them!). Something specifically for a bride or bridesmaid. Preferably bridesmaids, like simple enough so I can easily make a few matching sets. But if that ends up being too much of a headache, then just one piece will do. I'm giving myself one month to do this, but I must have a plan set out and already starting on the piece by the end of the first week. By the second week, I must post an update with pictures as proof to show how far along I am.
So now that I'm curious already to see what comes out of this challenge, I hope I'm not the only one. :)

I totally forgot that I even posted my design in the contest- I just happened to be browsing through and saw my necklace! Can you believe that?! Wow- I was stoked..:) It is in the 'heart' category, and I think that voting might be over- I probably caught this a bit too late to let my family & friends know so they could vote for me- geez... Thats cool, though- I'm just happy to even be a finalist! :)

I've recently made a few changes in my etsy jewelry shop. I decided have all my jewelry that is purchased to be shipped for free within the U.S.. now, I know that there are people that say their items ship free- but yet still put a little extra on the prices of their items- but all prices will remain unchanged in my shop.
